November 2024

Thursday and Friday we trained the Strupps. Saturday was our last day at the office and I went to Waltermart, David, and got my hair cut for $5 and a $5 tip to 2 workers.

After 4 baptisms we said good-bye to the Albrechts and finished packing.
The tech sisters, Sister Ringor and Tambolero came to our apt and sang 2 songs and gave us gifts and cried, they're so sweet!

At the airport terminal waiting for our next flight. We drove 3-6:30 am to get our passports and to MNL, we flew Manila-San Fransico-Los Angeles-Las Vegas. Debi and Tom picked us up and we stayed with them Sunday and Monday night.
We drove to Provo and stayed with Whitney and saw Ashleigh and Jonny and his 4 kids. We went to Jamies' Saturday and watched Emma and her dance team at Weber State Dance. We stayed the night and listened to Jamie sing and play at church.
We visited with the Akagis in Draper and ate Costa Vida. We stayed at the Nufers' house, but no pictures.

We saw mom and dad at Ovation every time we went down to Debi and Tom's house.
Alan got sheet rock and fixed the hole they had in the basement.
He put it in and Ryan painted it.
We went to Ephriam and visited with Rhonda and Loren's family. We made and ate Calzones and ate  nachos on the table cloth. It was yummy! We helped at the clothing donation and got a bag of clothes and moved furniture and food storage for Rhonda. We drove to Whitney's and she wants us to do more about Jamie.
We jogged and walked in her turkey trot and talked to 2 sisters from Peru.
We made date filled turkey wrap, rolls, gravy, chicken, stuffing, veggie tray, sparkling cider, and choc ginger crumb pie. Ashleigh brought monkey bread and mashed potatoes.
Very good food and very full. Jayden brought her new Korean roommate.
We read books and watched Lord of The Rings. We drove to Salam and danced to music, saw the lights, and Salem High choir. They lit all the trees up with Santa pulling the lever. The boys got to see Santa and were first in line.
Lights on the river. It was very pretty but my feet were freezing. We ate at Burger King and got gas at Costco and then went back to Whitney's house.
