November

JT and CO stopped by Sunday the 8th so Alan and Dad could help confirm him a member of the church. I gave a small talk on the Holy Ghost and we talked a bit, it was great to have them here.

We sold our Ford Explorer truck to a ward member the 1st day on blog spot.

Alan tested positive for covid, we think he got it from our daughter Jamie, who got it from her son Ben. He went to a Halloween party with about 500 kids and no masks, super spreader.
Here he's almost recovered, with just a few aches and chills, and some headaches.
Mom had a stroke and brain bleed, thought we were going to lose her Thanksgiving week.
She came home from the hospital in ST Geo on Thanksgiving day and Vicki and Andrea came up from California to be with her.
Sister Elwell made her this beautiful blanket.
One of her best days, Dec 1st. She found out she had been in the hospital and had a brain bleed. She kind of lost that last week of Nov. from her memory.

September

Alan and I tackled the basement bathroom first. We pulled up the linoleum, pulled everything out and put the new vinyl floors in and new vanity, towel bar, toilet paper holder and painted.
The main floor bathroom had mold and some rot, Alan had to cut out some and put in new particle board.
Jamie's upstairs bathroom was the hardest to fix, with black mold, dry rot, 2 layers of linoleum and 2 layers of particle board. The mirror had to be broken to get it out, what a pain!

Main bathroom with mold and medicine cabinet hole behind the mirror to be patched, surprises all over!
Alan putting the last piece of flooring in the main bathroom, the transition from the hall looks so good!
Main bathroom done.
Basement bathroom done.
Pulling the 2nd linoleum off the floor upstairs.
Some of the mold and tile problems.
Taking out the vanity with all this pipe was hard, getting a new vanity in was even harder!
New particle board and kilz down on it.
Floor upstairs done and vanity almost in.
Upstairs bathroom finally done!
Alan cut this cabinet door up and put this finish strip in the kitchen.
He put 3 wafer lights in the kitchen and took out the fluorescent lights.
No ceiling lights in her bedroom, no problem, Alan put these 2 over her bed! He put led lights down in the basement too.
After working a week on Jamie's house we took a vacation to Deb and Tom's house and played pinochle, ate, and enjoyed each others company. We then went back to Jamie's and finished everything up.
Tom took us shooting, it's been awhile but we really enjoyed it.
We didn't do too bad!
Debi sent me a picture of mom's A bomb pin and a screw she made to put it together when she worked on the Manhattan Project in Oakridge, TN.
On our way home to Cedar City we dropped off some spiderman, batman, and Ninja turtle action figures for the boys, they were very excited.
Jamie and Brent got engaged on their 1 dating year anniversary, she was surprised!
They were in Hagerman, ID with his siblings and parents, they were all in on it and took pictures from the patio door.
Mom and dad Jorgensen, Jalyn, Brent, Julie, and Scott.
