We bought plastic tubs and buckets and pulled our cereal, chips, pasta, and mixes out of the fridge. Alan was able to get one mouse, we figure there are more and are hoping to get rid of all of them.
New Years Eve, we had kaqik with the Riquena family and watched as the Elders helped them set off fireworks. The elders sink fell off the wall and broke. Alan got permission from the mission president to purchase another one and put it in. This is also the same sink that the members use when we have church.
The new sink, with the tile putty drying. Used cardboard because the putty is for floor tiles, and tends to run down when applied against the wall.
We had an activity and showed some sisters in the branch how to make caramel and popcorn. We ate it all up!
The chickens were a big fan of the leftover kernals of corn.
Saturday we had english class and mutual to introduce the theme this year D&C 19:23-"Learn of me and listen to my words... and you shall have peace in me". We then went to the concha and played pig with a few of the youth.
Alan won and I was the first one out because I was after Alan :)
