While the temple was closed for cleaning we flew into Cancun and stayed in town 2 days while waiting for Ash and Chad to fly in. Our vrbo didn't work out, she said she was never contacted and we couldn't stay at her place. Hopefully, we'll get our money back but we doubt it. VRBO hasn't called us back yet and it's been over a week.

On the plane to Cancun. We got 2 nights at One hotel near where our vrbo was that we booked and had a good breakfast included every morning, it was great except for the HARD beds.
Ash and Chad came in Tuesday afternoon and we picked them up and went down to our vrbo at Anah Bahia Principe south of Akumal.
We checked out the pools and beach.
We loved the pools.
The beach was pretty but a little rocky.
