Washington Birthday Party Trip

 The kids all got pumpkins to carve at a neighbor's house.

 The girls weren't sure about the pumpkin guts they had to scrape out.

 All of them were scraped out and the kids will decorate them later.

 We all went to Bills Berry Farm. It was great fun for all of us.

Shower and Steri strips

 I got to take a shower yesterday for the first time in 5 days. Thanks to Justin's plastic moving wrap it was successful!

 

 I took all the padding and wrap off today.

 Now I just need the go ahead to walk on it all I want !)

Ba's Wall Art, New Mantle, Knee Surgery and cookies

Ba found a black sharpie in our pen and pencil cup and wrote on two walls in three places.

What a shock when Ash and I found them. I primed it and Ash painted it tan again. You can't tell where it was now!)

Alan worked on our new fireplace mantle all week and we finished it yesterday.

The last coat of paint went on last night. Woot, woot, now we are ready for our olive wood nativity set!

This morning I had knee surgery to clean up my meniscus tear and cartilage damage. We celebrated with the girls by making pb cup cookies, YUM!

August Activities

 We all went to the school and picked blackberries.

 We got scratched and stained but got a lot of yummy berries.

 We will make freezer jam today.

I got a skinned knee when my pedal came off my bike while riding to the dentist office.

 Last week we took a bed, TV, and Bookcase to WA. We have one happy grand daughter in her pink bed.
